Posted: 21 Aug 2014 08:56 AM PDT Whether you’re an inventor, architect or other designer, after you’ve drawn up beautiful renders, the last thing you want to do is stuff them in an ugly cardboard tube! Inspired by this lack of aesthetically-pleasing storage, Arkitube was created as a functional and attractive way to carry architectural drafts, construction drawings or posters for presentation. Crafted from lightweight aluminum with an optional leather strap, it’s not only more stylish but more durable and weatherproof! Jump to the vid—> Designer: Jon Liow - Related posts: |
Posted: 21 Aug 2014 06:15 AM PDT It doesn't matter if you are camping alone or with your Brady Bunch, the point of the matter is that you never know when wilderness can turn against you and leave you stranded. For distress times like this and more, the Air Audio offers SOS function like Morse code signals. In lighter moments it doubles up as a Bluetooth Speaker that syncs with your Smartphone. The Future of Google Nexus 360 Smartphone Posted: 21 Aug 2014 02:59 AM PDT Here is a very grounded look at what can be the future of a Google Nexus Smartphone. The concept – Google Nexus 360 – is rooted in reality and can be commercially viable in a couple of years, if we put our minds to it. The concept hopes to eliminate the need for multiple devices and takes wearable tech to the next level. Inspired by innovative technologies like Molex, Dai Nippon Printing, Solicore and LG, this Google concept transforms from a mobile phone into a wearable Smartwatch device.

Posted: 21 Aug 2014 12:01 AM PDT This far-out design, called Nanopack, offers a new way to store leftovers in handy, cube-shaped packages. It consists of googols of tiny nano-robots which have the ability to rearrange themselves to create solid forms. Simply place a Nanopack on your food and it will spread out, enclose it and shape it into perfectly sized cubes! By squeezing around the food, it maintains the food form and quality, leaving no air or moisture pockets, thereby saving money and reducing waste. Designer: René Walk - Related posts: |
Posted: 21 Aug 2014 12:01 AM PDT Frigido is a radical refrigerator that takes inspiration from our very own cardiovascular system! At the “heart” of the upright, circular design is a cooling system that distributes and circulates refrigerated air to each of 6 compartments that surround it in a pie-shape. Each compartment is used to keep specific food categories, each with their own temperature and humidity requirements. This brings more attention to food quality, freshness and overall organization that’s particularly ideal for smaller households. Designer: Sakly Sadok - Related posts: |
