The nCycle is Here

Posted: 29 Aug 2014 09:31 AM PDT

Featured on Yanko earlier this year, we’re excited to announce that the revolutionary nCycle has move to a prototype phase… which means one step closer to you! Conceived as the ultimate expression of automotive beauty for e-bikes, the nCycle incorporates only the very essence of the vehicle itself and discards all the superfluous elements. The result of this approach is a single, continuously flowing frame which simultaneously outlines and defines the e-bike as a viable next generation vehicle.

Walking With An Independent Streak

Posted: 29 Aug 2014 05:36 AM PDT

The one thing that you will note about the folks who have some imparity is that they strive to be fiercely independent. To help them walk the streets without any assistance, we have here the Street Scanner. It is a device that works by sensing the objects around it. The sensors recognize objects that are distant and report it to the user via its interface.

The device provides feedback through voice and popup buttons and each of them works with 2 levels of heights that depict obstacles and indicate if they are moving or not. Overall, it's a device that makes navigation easy and safer.

Dot Matrix Microwave for Dummies

Posted: 29 Aug 2014 12:01 AM PDT

I know I’m not the only one who has NO CLUE how to use my microwave’s gazillion features. For us, there’s the Dot Matrix Microwave. — This innovative design takes the guesswork out of heating various foods by utilizing a single knob that toggles between the only the most common settings including defrost, liquids and 3 straightforward power settings. The design could have used a 2 million pixel LCD fancy shmancy screen, but nothing really emphasizes its simplicity like a beautifully basic dot matrix display!

What Goes Up(cycle) Must Come Down

Posted: 29 Aug 2014 12:01 AM PDT

As you might infer from the name, the Seesaw Bench puts the FUN in functionality with a clever design that doubles as a place to sit and relax or an interactive way to engage with strangers and friends alike! Composed of reclaimed materials, including upcycled tires, each unit is as efficient to produce as it is eco-friendly. Though simple in form and function, its balanced aesthetic and contrast in shapes make it a sculptural object despite being produced from otherwise unsightly materials!
