Solar Fun In A Sail Posted: 07 Aug 2014 10:47 AM PDT If I have to sum up the innovative quotient in the Kira Yacht, then it has to be the lead in the keel of the boat, which is designed to become a giant battery charger thanks to the solar cells in the sail. 40-meter Sail Yacht allows the owner to live in complete comfort and with zero carbon footprint. The physical model is a 3D Print, printed in multiple parts, detailed and assembled by the designer. Housing a wafer-thin jeweled analog quartz movement of just 1.1mm, it is one of the slimmest titanium watches in the world with an overall thickness of only 4mm! The ultra slim calibre floats between sapphire glass crystals, supported by a skeletal framework. The contoured matte case is machined from a single piece of titanium and features carbon fiber details for a sporty look that’s complimented by a sleek golf-patterned leather strap. Sorry righties!
