Posted: 23 Dec 2014 09:24 AM PST The latest in a trend of specialized hanging systems, the Wall Ride is a practical and versatile rack that’s perfect for putting your skateboard on display (and out of the way)! A handy slot keeps your board safely elevated to avoid dings and scratches on both the deck and your home walls, and even doubles as a bottle opener. Three hooks and two additional shelves allow you to conveniently hang almost anything else, including gear like helmets, gloves and knee pads. Designer: Zanocchi & Starke - Related posts: |
Posted: 23 Dec 2014 02:22 AM PST I recently had a nasty fall that required me to dress and change my bandages everyday. The kind of wound that I had was quite deep and wide, and bang on the knee. Imagine, for almost two months that it took to heal, I had to use two set of ointments, one cream, sterile gauze and tape, to hold things together. It was painful and a long-drawn process. If only I had access to concepts like the Popband-aid, those two months would have been easy for me. Designers: Byun Ji Hyun, Chang Min Jeong, Hong Myung Jik & Yun So Hyeon - Related posts: |
Posted: 23 Dec 2014 01:11 AM PST We can find water showerhead systems that feature water-flow control and allow the user to use less water per minute. On the flip side we do not have anything that that controls the time for the flow of water instead of controlling the rate of flow of water. Drop has an analogue water timer mechanism so that you can keep to a length of time in the shower. This indirectly saves water. Alerting the user to the amount of water use but the onus is still on the user to limit the amount of actual use being water. Drop's purpose is to unconsciously facilitate a change in human behavior resulting in less water used, less water wastage while achieving the same objective. Sensory Intelligent Toy for Tots Posted: 23 Dec 2014 12:00 AM PST The first in the Hula Balu series of sensory children’s toys, Doodle is a plush pal that informs parents about little one’s health patterns. Using accelerometers and other sensors, the toy is able to measure vitals during play, including heart rate, temperature and sleeping patterns. Information is sent to parents’ tablet or mobile app for review and can easily be shared with a pediatrician. Vid after the jump! Designers: Andres Santanilla Jaramillo & Rodrigo Miguel
