If you buy Mike Stilkey‘s artworks painted on stacks of books, you must think of one thing: how will I move it if I must go live somewhere else? Jokes aside, I found his characters painted on stacks of books just majestic. He works sometimes with only a few books, but some installations are quite spectacular and involve full libraries. These book sculptures are available at Gilman Contemporary gallery in Ketchum, Idaho.

An award-winning series of illustrations created for “The Canterbury Tales”. The book can be found at Black Cat publishing. The illustrations are the work of Anna + Elena, twin sisters from Milano in Italy. They’ve been working together since 1998, winning multiple awards for their illustrations with beautiful color schemes and textures.
