Abandonned Walmart turned into America’s largest library

It’s good to see one of these big abandonned Walmarts put to good use and given a new life. Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle transformed an abandoned Walmart in McAllen, Texas, into a 124,500-square-foot public library, the largest single-floor public library in the United States. Via WebUrbanist.

Norwegian Shipowners’ Association’s new visual identity

What better appeals to ship owners than the sky and sea? Probably nothing. The agency Neue chose this reference to create the identity of the Norwegian Shipowners Association, but with a minimalist treatment.

The objective was to give serious, bold and forward-looking impression, I think it’s a success.
