Functional Beauty

The AERO chair’s simple interlocking technique makes for a functional and downright gorgeous design that’s sure to withstand time. The design, composed of just 2 pieces, can be assembled simply by sliding the back/front-leg component into the slit of the seat/back-leg piece. Its unique support system, immediately apparent in its aesthetic, makes it just a little easier to store and transport.

The Upward Drift

The Lumiru is an intriguing concept that involves a fan and its upward drift. The basic premise is to draw inspiration from the winters of Nordic countries and mesh it with inexpensive materials and yet recreate a spectacular fan and mood element with the integrated light. As the designer explains, Lumiru works in essence the same way as a ceiling fan by blowing air to the roof causing a calm wind throughout the space."

In apartments that don't have much ceiling heights, this type of air circulation works both in a warming and cooling the space, depending upon the fan speed. Interesting!

Skippy The Scooty

Love the thoughtful SRV .h concept. It is an eco-friendly concept vehicle that is best suited for shopping and mobility. Basically this commuter scooter can transform to a helpful shopping cart via some simple folding steps. Details that include a cradle for storing your phone makes this such an awesome thang. Elegant and functional, this is my scooty of the future!

SRV.h is a 2012 iF Design Talents entry.

A Dog Your Cat Will Love

Cats can finally get claws in their natural enemy without any repercussions! Lumpi is a clever scratching post design cast in polyester resin wrapped with tough sisal cord, protecting your furniture and keeping other belongings safe from scratch marks. Paws crossed that kitty doesn’t confuse Lumpi with Bruiser!

Back to Basics

Finally, a counter-worthy kitchen scale! The unique design is as simple as it is elegant, and utilizes the flexibility of its curved metal support to accurately display weights up to 250 grams, all without the need for electricity or batteries! Way better looking than those mini digital scales!
