Yanko Design - Form Beyond Function |
Posted: 08 May 2012 08:01 AM PDT Duo is an innovative tap mixer with two functional spouts. The downward pour is ideal for hand washing and the upward stream, for brushing teeth. I can even squeeze in washing face and gulping a sip of water to the list but that's about it. What I really like is the flexibility offered without adding confusion to how the tap operates. Hot, cold, up and down…all done intuitively. Designer: Daniel So - Related posts: |
Posted: 08 May 2012 05:42 AM PDT H-Socks make for lame product design, however if you consider them as packaging, I'd call them pretty clever. We all know how reflexology is great for relieving pain and clearing energy blocks, so if the pressure points are known, we can easily ask someone (or do it ourself) to do us the favor of a massage. Even better, how about using a pair as icebreakers? Wicked! Designers: Zouzhen Meng, Zhu Yunlong, Zhu Zhaohua & Zhao Qing - Related posts: |
Posted: 08 May 2012 12:17 AM PDT Quit simply, the Corner Ladder is amazing. One of those products with pure genius behind the design. Using a number of simple yet precise folding techniques, the ladder collapses to just a fraction of its size when unfolded, taking up much less room than most cumbersome ladder designs. I’ll say it again- GENIUS! Hit the jump to see it in action! Designer: Company & Company Design Studio - Related posts: |
Posted: 08 May 2012 12:09 AM PDT Made from a singular piece in multiple materials and various colors, each Bliss table is produced by genuine craftsmanship and can be customized to be modest and subtle or loud and extravagant depending on the user’s taste. The center features an interchangeable, modular unit that further its versatility and make it adaptable to any occasion. Designer: John Stangdell - Related posts: |
Posted: 08 May 2012 12:01 AM PDT Inspired by the wildlife of the African savannah, the GIFU lamp series is as lovable as it is super-functional as a space saving design. Each lamp arrives flat-packed, but unfold it to reveal an adorable animalian form. The clever design makes the most of each component with the wiring resembling a tail and the bulb resembling a trunk! Designer: María del Pilar Velasco & Pau Stephens - Related posts: |
