Posted: 08 Mar 2013 07:11 AM PST Of the recent concepts using Windows Phone OS, I think the Alcatel Concept Unicorn Phone has my vote for being designed differently. We all have the habit of 'protecting' our phones, hence this one comes with a functional flip-cover integrated into the design. The flip extension cleverly holds the USB charging port in its place thus negating the need for an additional charger. So clever! Designer: Jet ONG - Related posts: |
Ergonomic Table For Your Laptop Posted: 08 Mar 2013 06:58 AM PST It's an age-old agenda, to have the perfect setup that allows you to work on the computer endlessly and yet maintain the correct posture. Time and again specialists insist and designers execute ideas that support an ergonomic table and chair, ideal for computer usage. Biuro is just that. Designer: Marc Tran - Related posts: |
Boskke Sky Planters Now in Clear Posted: 08 Mar 2013 02:12 AM PST If you haven’t yet been turned on to the Boskke Sky Planters, let me shed some light. See what I did there? Shed some light? Plants? Photosynthesis? Anywho – the original Sky Planters allowed any keen gardener short on space to literally hang all their plants. Now it’s available in clear; perfectly suited for plants with roots designed for sun exposure like orchids. It’s also interesting because you can kind of see how it all works. So deceptively simple and beautiful. Currently available in small and medium sizes. Gots to get me some. Designer: Boskke - Related posts: |
Posted: 08 Mar 2013 01:53 AM PST They’re called Jpegs. No, not the image compression format. It’s a new product from Thabto designed by Jason Caswell. True to form, Jason designs yet another product that’s utterly useful with a sense of humor. The wood coat hooks have handy pegs you can clip mail, photos, and notes too. Each hook has super strong magnets if you prefer to use them on a fridge instead of wall. Get a set of 3 for £12. Love it! Designer: Jason Caswell - Related posts: |
Posted: 08 Mar 2013 12:01 AM PST Applied perfectly to this ultra-contemporary garden setting, Peter Donders’ creative seating designs, the C Bench and Stone, instantly command a strong visual attraction. Each uses a single strand of carbon fiber twisted around a mold. When the mold is removed the resulting structure is organic and airy in aesthetic yet incredibly strong. They’re a surprising solution for both indoor/outdoor seating and exceptional for defining a variety of modern spaces. Designer: Peter Donders - Related posts: |
Posted: 08 Mar 2013 12:01 AM PST 3Deeth is the smart, sanitary solution for freshening your mouth that you can conveniently carry in your pocket, purse, or backpack. The disposable version features a squeezable toothpaste reservoir that disperses paste onto the bristles while the non-disposable version is more rigid for a longer lifespan. After applying toothpaste, the user simply bites down on the device, brushing right to left with the grip. Bristles on both sides tackle hard to reach places on both upper and lower teeth simultaneously! 3Deeth is a 2012 red dot award: design concept winning entry. Designer: Zeki Özek - Related posts: |
