Posted: 07 Mar 2013 08:14 AM PST The Bang & Olufsen Play concept is a hybrid speaker system that seamlessly transforms from full-fledged automotive surround-sound to a transportable compact boom box. The idea: why spend money on both a premium car sound system and a portable radio when you can have both in one easy-to-use product? Charge it in the car and use it when you’re camping, hanging at the beach, or for those spontaneous moments that just need a little background music. Designer: Marc Tran - Related posts: |
Posted: 07 Mar 2013 03:24 AM PST The simplistic Thunder lamp makes great use of cutting-edge OLED technology with its 3 swiveling, modular sections that provide fully flexible positioning for custom light coverage. As for its name, the bolt-shaped lamp also pairs wirelessly with your smartphone and flashes when you have incoming calls – similar to the sound and flash with thunder and lightning! Posted: 07 Mar 2013 12:40 AM PST This is the future and the city's business district frowns upon those who bring their cars to work. The alternate arrangement is to leave your car at a distant parking lot and cycle your way to work. Why? Overpopulation has taken its toll on the city and this is a plausible solution. In comes the Ford Citi Bike, one that is designed for easy mounting and holding gadgets like laptops and iPad. Its shape came from a user friendly perspective where the owner wont have to lift their legs up high to mount-dismount the bike, this way makes it easy to ride it with whatever kind of clothing. The mechanism of the bike consists in gears, and dented bands for traction, and torsion bars for steering. Designed for Ford, inspired by the Ford Focus ST 2013 Designers: Jimena Compean, Isabel Ayala and Jose Arturo Moreno - Related posts: |

Iriver Shuffle is music player designed with two-silicone housing and simple UI. Designer: Jeongbeom Han - Related posts: |
Posted: 07 Mar 2013 12:01 AM PST Designer Jeppe Worsøe Andersen’s rocking horse transforms an iconic, familiar fragment into a sleek, modern design with a minimalist aesthetic. Inspired by Danish designer Poul Kjaerholm’s famed PK-0 chair, this rocker is both radical in aesthetic and thoughtful in construction. The result is a striking blend of materials including dark, form-bent cherry wood and polished steel that make it a solid, functional toy as well as a sculptural accent for the modern home.
