Stunning cultured packaging designs

Posted: 23 Jan 2013 09:15 PM PST

Packaging designers have the diffucult task of bringing brand elements together into a package design that will stand out to consumers. Sometimes, the brand elements are created along with the package design. Other times, the designer has to create a packaging design that fits with the already established brand.

There are a variety of techniques designers employ to create a packaging design that is truly unique, and one of those is to design a package from the brand story, the culture behind the company. When a designer is able to connect a brand package with a culture, the connection that consumers make with that brand is often much more powerful. Now customers have an established, maybe even an owned culture with which to associate the product.

The following collection of cultured packaging designs come from a variety of regions, countries, and counties or even villages. Check out the notes underneath each collection of brand images to see the specific culture of each package. Then click on the link to read more about the designer’s angle and the brand story.
