The e-Bike we’ve all been waiting for… Posted: 13 Nov 2013 08:21 AM PST Named after the 13th element that composes its unibody frame, the electric Bike 13 is both a feat of functional engineering and aesthetic integrity. Its hybrid engine is packed tightly within a robust yet lightweight, compact frame. Also built into the frame is a self-locking mechanism that freezes the rear wheel when parked to deter theft. It’s pure e-bike… nothing more and nothing less than what you need. Let’s crowdfund this thing cause I want one for Christmas! Designer: Francois Baptista - Related posts: |
Posted: 13 Nov 2013 04:06 AM PST The Plate Cooker is intended for busy working folks who can't spend much time on cooking. It reflects a unique Korean culinary culture: preference for soup and rice as a breakfast, and cooking and freezing the food over weekends. This food is then heated and consumed over the upcoming week. According to the research conducted by the designer, people tended to heat the frozen rice and other foods in the microwave to pack as lunch and if they heated all the food at once, some dishes were left cold. This Plate Cooker allows you to warm up various foods together all at once and easily cook simple meals in an efficient way. Love it! Designer: Ranhee Chung - Related posts: |
Posted: 13 Nov 2013 03:56 AM PST I am sure there is a very good reason for cell phones to have a rectangular battery. I'm not going to dispute the reason but instead present Ji Hye Park's idea. The Tilt Battery is simply designed with a sharp slope on one end. This is so that it's easy to load in the battery and removes all ambiguity of which ways to slide it in! Awesome! The structure is covered with an elastic membrane connected to an amplifier and transducers around a wooden resonance chamber. The device can be attached to any instrument or other sound source. The input is converted into vibration which can be felt throughout the tactile surface! Designer: Justyna Zubrycka - Related posts: |
Posted: 13 Nov 2013 12:01 AM PST Using DigitalHabit(s)’ gestural interface, this twist on the desktop speaker encourages user interaction by reacting to movements of the hand. Manufactured in concrete and fir harmonic board, the resulting sound has a deep resonance with enhanced bass tones. Pair your favorite Bluetooth device to stream music wirelessly and set the volume, change the song, or pause/start with a simple wave! Designer: DigitalHabit(s) - Related posts: |
