Posted: 09 Oct 2013 09:39 AM PDT Named “Edge” for their single edge design, this cutlery set is produced with a hot stamp which makes it possible to remove the slice present in cold working. This cleaner shape further defines the archetypical silhouette of industrial flatware. As simple as it gets, they’re perfect for any dinner table, formal or casual. Berlin’s Water Enhanced Tempelhof Posted: 09 Oct 2013 12:01 AM PDT The W.E.T. system harnesses solar energy and H20 to enhance public spaces. As it rains, the design collects water used for cleaning & fire emergencies. Excess water is kept in an underground collection tank where it is then dispersed through misters to keep the public cool on hot days. On especially rainy days, extra water is used to supplement the surrounding irrigation. On top of the beacon, a solar panel collects the sun’s energy to power lighting at the foot & top of the system that keeps the area illuminated at night. Posted: 09 Oct 2013 12:01 AM PDT DESKA Board’s CitySurf concept brings the thrill of extreme sports like snowboarding and surfing to the streets! It’s hard to compare to anything else because it’s seriously unique. On one hand, it rides like a skateboard with a similar stance and low clearance, but features a hand brake, 3 larger wheels, and a flexible belt on which the rider stands. On the other, it’s akin to a windsurf board with its sail used to propel it and control direction. Designer: DESKA Board - Related posts: |
