Shower with a Clean Conscience Posted: 25 Oct 2013 08:34 AM PDT A hot shower feels sooooo good! It’s no wonder that we often overlook how much water we’re using. The Refresh system helps cut back on consumption by quickly filtering and recirculating some of the water from each shower cycle. The system can be implemented into any existing shower for instant water savings. Slots for the user’s favorite bar soap are built into the design, so it doubles as a dish! Posted: 25 Oct 2013 01:11 AM PDT Abandoned pens and other such stationery stand a chance at purposeful usage, thanks to the Pen Printer. The device uses the ink from discarded pens to print on paper. The current tech may not support such an ambitious idea, but it's worth the exploration, since many of us have bundles of uncapped and discarded pens in our drawers for no apparent reason! Posted: 25 Oct 2013 12:01 AM PDT One look at the Faro lighting collection and you’ll be reminded of boogie, polyester, and peace! This 70′s inspired series breathes new life into mod style by recreating the plastic shell pendants that were popular almost 40 years ago. Thick transparent glass diffuses light in layered waves for a groovy glow that subtly resembles a lighthouse lantern. Designer: Marc Graells - Related posts: |
Posted: 25 Oct 2013 12:01 AM PDT Inspired by the framework of the the very first experimental aircraft, the Air Chair’s triangular steel structure is at once reminiscent of flyers of the past and modernly minimal. Faceted planes compose the seat and back for an aerodynamic aesthetic that also excels in comfort. Even more interesting, every section of the design has also been proportioned to the “golden ratio” for aesthetic appeal. Designer: Federico Mauro Costa - No related posts. |
