Posted: 05 Sep 2013 10:44 AM PDT The One Shot project was designed to supplement other methods of public transportation. The compact design transforms from a full-fledged, fixed-belt bike to a compact, vertical unit easily stored on buses, trains or other easy-access areas. From tourists discovering new places to regular commuters heading to work, it’s a versatile system that expands the reach of public transportation for a variety of users. Posted: 05 Sep 2013 01:11 AM PDT The Dual Cleaner is a unique combination of a vacuum cleaner at one end and steam cleaner at the other end. It’s process is such that it vacuums the area at first and then wipes cleanly with the steam cleaner. Designed to be a wall mounted appliance, the cleaner fits aesthetically into a home environment. A neat cleaner to have around! Designer: Jung Hyun Min - Related posts: |
Posted: 05 Sep 2013 01:01 AM PDT The packaging for the Fluid Bottles used in the medical industry is exactly what it is expected to look like – sterile. Rightly so, but the thing is that its also the source of stress in children. By simply redesigning the bottle with a cute bubble encased duck, the Halo Duck Fluid Bottle is less intimidating. The bubble also prevent reverse flow, adding purpose to the design. Cute! Designer: Jung Hyun Min - Related posts: |
A whole new meaning to multifunctional. Posted: 05 Sep 2013 12:01 AM PDT We’ve featured hundreds of clocks, lights, coat hangers, iPhone docks, alarms and speakers… but we’ve never seen one concept that is ALL of the above! Called Hook7, it’s seven every day tools in one puzzling object. Check it out! Designer: Dongsung Jung - Related posts: |
Posted: 05 Sep 2013 12:01 AM PDT Designed for everyone from the urban commuter to the adventurous camper, Prism is the most digital-friendly backpack out there. Like any good pack, it’s waterproof, shock resistant, comfortable, and quickly accessible. But what sets it apart is a built-in 4000mAh solarcharger that delivers power to your phone, tablet or other electronic devices. Solar panels located at the top are always exposed to the sun while you’re wearing it, so as long as it’s shining you’re getting juice! How it’s made: The polycarbonate frame was CNC cut out of a sheet of 1/4″ thick Lexan, and bent into shape on a cold-steel bender. It’s entirely removable, which was a manufacturing decision to simplify the sewing process. Basically, the fabric skin is made of dual layer polyurethane-coated nylon for water-proofing and durability. This skin is stretched taught over the frame, and then zipped up around it, which keeps the whole system in tension, providing a tesseract of sorts for your laptop or tablet on the inside.
