Posted: 08 Jul 2013 07:24 AM PDT CMY(si-mee) is a very intuitive camera with simple functions. Pulling it out of its protective case means turning it on; pushing it back in – yes, turning it off! If you need to zoom, then simply twist the crank on the side. Rotating it outward means zooming out, while inward means zooming in. The only button on this camera is the shutter, just push it down to take a picture or swivel to a desired duration, like a kitchen timer, to take a self-timed photo. Remind us of the Polaroid days, the camera comes with a self-printer. You can instantly print out pictures on a paper roll with a half-dot process. Tear off the printed-paper like a bill from the receipt printer, or keep it like a photo strip from photo booth! Very kawaii! Designer: Yanika Tinaphongs - Related posts: |
De-clutter Desk With Modular Modo Posted: 08 Jul 2013 06:44 AM PDT If you feel a twinge of embarrassment when you look at the clutter on your desk, then you are in serious need of help. Pens, wires, gadgets, basically the contents of a junk drawer strewn across is what best describes most office desks around the world. Modo or Modular Desktop Organizer is the answer we all have been waiting for. This functional Chinese-checkered kind of board adapts to the needs of your desk and makes it look worthy of the shining success that you are. Zen and balance in life is achieved if all the elements are in sync with each other. You may own the best of the Smartphone, tablet and the most expensive pens, but what good are these if they are not in harmony with your surroundings. It takes a little creative genius to see the value in orienting horizontal wall pegs, downsizing them and placing them as verticals. Crafted from naturally warm bamboo and matte finished aircraft grade aluminum, this customizable plug n organize system will conform to whatever devices and equipments you use now and in the future. Details about Modo and B&A Studio can be found here.

Posted: 08 Jul 2013 03:41 AM PDT Love the Juice up concept by Francois Rybarczyk, a simple yet functional design that rescues you from situations where your Smartphone battery is dying on you and you have no easy access to a power point. Juice up, is a work around for power sharing; the frame features a cable which can transfer battery life from one phone to another. Juice up is still at a concept stage and needs some electrical engineering, to be viable. Designer: Francois Rybarczyk - Related posts:

Posted: 08 Jul 2013 01:26 AM PDT Once you are dead asleep, there is little use of the night lamp that keeps burning uselessly. The 15 Minutes Lamp is an innovative fusion of a sand-timer and mood lamp that comes handy in this situation. As the sand flows towards the light at the bottom, the illumination dims out. In about fifteen minutes or so the entire lamp portion gets covered, the lights go off and you are fast asleep. The timer can be adjusted to 15-minutes interval and when the sand flows down completely, the power is automatically switched off by the weight of the sand. 15 Minutes Lamp is a 2013 IDEA Awards winner.
