What the iron throne should have looked like Posted: 11 Jul 2013 04:16 PM PDT George R. R. Martin recently wrote a blog post in which he explains how he envisionned the Iron Throne. In the popular TV show the Iron Throne is made of 200 swords, Martin imagined it much bigger and less comfortable. He shared an illustration by French illustrator Marc Simonetti. I can imagine that it must be hard to create such a throne, but it would definitly have looked much scarier. |
The Firefox logo simplification process Posted: 11 Jul 2013 03:41 PM PDT The Firefox team announced the latest version of their logo at the end of the month of June. It can not really be called a redesign, but the new version of the logo went through a serious simplification process made with SVG compatibility in mind. Sean Martell wrote an interesting post that explains the rebuilding of the logo. |
