| Posted: 17 Jun 2013 08:54 AM PDT It might surprise you to find that this 34-story residential skyscraper proposed for Stockholm’s cultural hub is composed not of steel, but almost entirely of wood! Though not often used in such vertical structures, the material was chosen for its lightness, natural climate regulation, acoustics and exposed aesthetic quality. While the exterior facade shines with glass, the full effect of the construction is felt inside where every wall, ceiling and floor is clad with natural, warm wood. Designer: Berg | C.F. It has moving parts that require your thumb and index finger for support. Simply adjust them along the length of the ruler and keep extending the line. Fantastic! To adapt to any size street, the undercarriage parallel to the cleaning unit can be extended from 140cm to 300cm. The combination of horizontally and vertically rotating brushes ensures an optimal cleaning coverage at the curbstone in addition to under the sweeper itself.
