Posted: 16 Jan 2013 10:00 AM PST Ask any band and they’ll tell you that getting their first touring trailer was a memorable experience. Having the right one is important… after all, you don’t want to be throwing $50,000 worth of instruments and equipment in the back of a horse trailer! This design, crafted especially for music tours, features a logical arrangement of compartments for various instrument types, making unloading and loading a much easier, quicker and methodical process. With ample padding, a reinforced cage, extra space for personal items, and plenty of exterior room for logos and graphics, it’s a roadie’s wet dream! Posted: 16 Jan 2013 09:32 AM PST The Ka-mu-ra is a concept based on Kanketsu, the idea of simplicity. When the brief was given to designer Forrest Radford, to design a camera for Muji, the obvious loophole was that Muji isn't a very tech-centric company. So his first reaction was to creatively push the brand forward from where it currently is. Simple to use, the camera is off when closed and on when opened.
As the designer puts it, since most photos taken now are snapshot only a few controls are needed. And since most photos are now snapshots done with phone cameras it seems logical to put this technology to good use. Designer: Forrest Radford - Related posts:

Sorri Chair, Wide Loads Welcome Posted: 16 Jan 2013 01:52 AM PST I am LOVING the Sorri Lounge Chair. When I say wide loads welcome, I don’t mean that in a condescending way. I’m serious. I love a wide chair, especially when it gently cups my butt. Not to mention it makes logical sense since there’s enough room to sit my bag next to me instead of on the floor. Ladies, can I get an amen? If you want one, WEWOOD is taking it into production. The chair will also be on display at Maison & Objet from the 18-22nd in Paris. Hello Touch, A Wearable Vibrator Posted: 16 Jan 2013 01:33 AM PST Yes girl, the pleasure Gods at Jimmyjane are at it again with their latest orgasm inducing pleasure toy called Hello Touch. They’re finger tip vibrators which if you take your mind out of the gutter for a second and think about it – makes total sense. No other instrument is as, ahem… articulate as your fingers. Slap a couple of powerful vibrating motors on those babies and you’ve got climaxes for days. Their motto? Play naturally, stroke, tickle, and squeeze. Designers: Jimmyjane - Related posts:

Posted: 16 Jan 2013 12:01 AM PST The Frumpy Chairs aren’t what you my typically think of as attractive… in fact, they’re pretty weird. But the process by which they’re made IS beautiful! Designer Jamie Wolfond pours plastic regrind (ground up rejects of failed injection-molded parts that would otherwise go to waste) into a fire-proof silicone pattern and heats them in a pizza oven. After heating the plastic to its melting point, he slumps the mold over a crude form—letting the plastic determine the final product. Designer: Jamie Wolfond - No related posts. |
Posted: 16 Jan 2013 12:01 AM PST This modern medical device aims to streamline psychologist’s assessment of a patient’s possible neurological damage. Unlike old-fashioned tests (like the familiar inkblot cards), the device incorporates all of the exams from the Halstead-Reitan Neuropsychological Battery into an interactive holographic display that tests various parts of the brain and provides instantaneous feedback and an overall more accurate assessment.
