Posted: 29 Oct 2012 09:16 AM PDT The Fliptype iPhone case allows users to not only see the keys they are typing, but feel them as well! The translucent, tactile keyboard provides an additional sensory element to typing that users transitioning from Blackberry (or maybe just those with big fingers!) will appreciate. The flippable typing strap can also be easily tucked away at the back of the case when not in use. Designer: NOS

Posted: 29 Oct 2012 01:11 AM PDT The Locko is an outdoor water tap meant for installation in gardens and public areas. The concept addresses the need for keeping these faucets secured and locked as unauthorized people may use them. The Locko uses a combination lock system to keep the tap locked and only those who know the combination will be able to use it. This will help prevent water theft (yes this happens!) and wastage. LOCKO is a 2012 red dot award: design concept winner. Designers: Arman Emami & Emami Design - Related posts: |
Posted: 29 Oct 2012 01:01 AM PDT How awesome and simple this can be; imagine there is a sizeable chunk of the population that is sight impaired. They do lead an independent life and do their own shopping, so on the next shopping spree they get information about the clothes they are about to buy, through the clothing tag! Simple wash instructions or textile details can me embossed in Braille for their convenience and I am sure it must a cost effective thing to do. Neat! Braille Label is a 2012 iF Design Talents entry. Posted: 29 Oct 2012 12:01 AM PDT This creative modular fence concept takes from the classic archetypical backyard fence shape, reducing it to a metal lattice framework that’s perfect for your favorite climbing vine. Each partition can be “planted” directly in the soil or in pots, making it easy to install to unique specifications. With a little water and patience, you can watch your fence come to life! The Cube home features a thoughtfully placed bathroom with a water saving shower and toilet, kitchen with an induction stove and small fridge, eating area for 4, bed for 2 and even a little storage to spare.
