Posted: 13 Aug 2012 10:23 AM PDT This coat rack/bench combination, called “A Tree in the Meadow,” consists of 20×20 thick maple slats situated in 18mm thick birch plywood, creating a visually stunning matrix that resembles the striking vision of a lone tree in a hayfield. The design skews our perception of storage and formal structural stability- umbrellas, newspaper, slippers and other small items can be stored among the slats while coats and bags can be placed on the extended slats that form the coat rack. Posted: 13 Aug 2012 07:12 AM PDT If I use this on you…where are you and what am I doing to you? Any guesses? Yes, the Guessing Game is back with a vengeance…Be honest, just look at the small pic and tell us what you think it is, the answer is after the jump. No prizes for guessing right, however you do win our appreciation and our salute! If I aim and shoot this at you, it means you are drowning and I am saving you from going down underwater! Save Trigger! This 2012 iF Design Talents entry is about a lifesaver that rolls into a gun-esque thang and can be hurled towards the drowning person from ashore. The idea is nice and worth exploring. Posted: 13 Aug 2012 07:04 AM PDT Although they may have the accurate recipe in hand, professional chefs know that the perfect stew or soup is always seasoned using approximations. It's got to do with gut instincts I suppose, and unfortunately not all of us are blessed with that. So if you are looking for professional chef quality food at home, then you need the help of Ingressure. Ingressure is an appliance that accurately measures the ingredients of your soup, sauce or stew. It is intuitive enough to let you know how much salt, pepper or spice you need for the dish. It uses advanced sensors and comes with multiple attachments to suit your purpose. Ingressure is a 2012 Electrolux Design Lab Shortlisted entry. Designer: Jongwoo Choi - Related posts: |
