Posted: 15 Jan 2015 10:30 AM PST Because of their utilitarian nature, mass transit rail systems are generally predictable in design and aesthetic. Aluminum poles, a composite floor, off-white wall paneling, multi-colored seats… you get the idea. This concept by A.B. Vignesh is NOT one of those rail systems. Designed to enhance the mood and social behavior of its passengers, this monorail’s lively interior is unpredictable and different from one car to the next. It’s more akin to a night club than a train, making the daily commute just a little more bearable if not fun! Monorail designed for Bangaluru City, India. Designer: A.B.Vignesh - Related posts: |
More Than Lisa and Less Than iMac Posted: 15 Jan 2015 04:04 AM PST I was never good at history lessons, however Steve Jobs has made it hard to forget the impact of the first desktop computer “Lisa”, showcased by Apple. Three decades later, we have seen the evolution of design translate to the current version of iMac, and it has none of the visible cues found on the original. CURVED/labs has made an attempt to bridge this gap with their concept "Lisa" inspired iMac Concept. Details:

Posted: 15 Jan 2015 03:28 AM PST Love this &B laser beam light concept for bikes! It's an amazing way to make your presence felt on the road and be safe. I find it creative innovation for branding as well; just look at the clever "I'm Loving It" tagline being showcased for the Mc Donald's delivery bike. It really can't get better than this! Posted: 15 Jan 2015 12:00 AM PST Cleanser is a multifunctional motorized cleaning tool designed to provide an effective way to unclog toilet bowls, sinks and drainage pipes efficiently. A total no-brainer for inexperienced users, the automated device features an easy-to-use extendable pipe for varying lengths depending on context as well as a roller mechanism for automatic extending and retracting the flexible wire back and forth. Totally phallic, totally phun! Posted: 15 Jan 2015 12:00 AM PST This humorous approach to pendant lighting takes inspiration from… well… let’s just say it together, shall we? CONDOMS CONDOMS CONDOMS. There we go… it’s out of our system! Whether in the man cave or bedroom, it’s a clever conversation starter and a reminder to put a rubber on it. Really, it’s the only time it’s actually more fun WITH a condom! Designer: JV&MS KMZB - Related posts: |
