Yanko Design - Form Beyond Function |
Posted: 13 Jan 2015 08:45 AM PST In designer Soo Jung Park’s many travels, she occasionally felt as though natives in these foreign lands looked at her like an “alien” though she was only there to help improve the their environments. Inspired by this experience, her Invaders series of table and floor lamps reflect a retro, UFO or space satellite-like aesthetic. In multiple shapes and sizes, there’s one to invade every part of your home! Designer: Soo Jung Park - Related posts: |
Posted: 13 Jan 2015 08:15 AM PST Occasionally, pills require cutting to either make them easier to swallow or dose correctly. This is harder than you might think and usually requires an additional device that not everyone has access too…. so why not build one into the bottle? Easy Cut does just that by integrating a safe-to-use pill cutter in the cap that anyone can operate. Simple place your medication over the blade and push the cap down. Posted: 13 Jan 2015 12:00 AM PST Wild in both function and aesthetic, Enko is a revolutionary running shoe which, with its two shock absorbers, conserves all the energy stored in each stride. With a normal shoe, when your foot touches the ground, the energy is completely lost. In contrast, Enko stores up the energy and redelivers it when you lift your heel off the ground again to make your running extremely efficient. Designer: Mathieu Pesme - Related posts: |
Posted: 13 Jan 2015 12:00 AM PST Tulip is the perfect addition to your serveware set this upcoming spring! For a fun and functional twist on traditional steel ice tongs, the nature-inspired design applies natural shapes and geometries of the flower by the same name. In durable, single injected plastic, they’re also made to last well into winter, next spring and all over again! Designer: LÚCID - Related posts: |
