Posted: 04 Dec 2014 06:44 AM PST The Pillow furniture series is focused on a necessity in the modern office space: acoustics and privacy. Upholstered soft panels are combined with functional elements to provide improved acoustics with less echo and more sound absorption thanks to high quality foam. Decorative and scalable, the dividers can be filled with shelves, a wardrobe, magazine holders planters and more. It’s a beautiful design that also neutralizes annoying office noise. Look … A Windows 10 Fitness Smartwatch Posted: 04 Dec 2014 04:44 AM PST I love that designer Jonas Dähnert is not focusing on Apple but giving a chance to Windows and others. Take a look at his version of the Windows 10 Fitness Smartwatch Concept. Interestingly it has a display that is featured on the strap. Déjà vu? Well, our good friends Kairos Watches have something similar up on Indigogo that is surreal and sexy, check it out here. Designer: Phone Designer [ Jonas Dähnert ] - Related posts: |
Posted: 04 Dec 2014 01:11 AM PST Traveling with two bags that weighed almost 25 kilos each, I ended up straining my arms so bad that I nursed sore muscles days after my arrival back home! First off, don't judge – I'm a shopping freak, and secondly, damn you get affordable stuff in China! Oh well, it's about time Samsonite or someone looked into this "Balance Wheel Carrier" design and see if we can really have an additional wheel added to the design– just to make dragging suitcases an easy job. Do tell! Designers: Sung Ha Lim and Hee Kyung Oh - Related posts:

Posted: 04 Dec 2014 12:00 AM PST For dieters watching their salt intake, the Mr.Sam smart accessory is all you need to make cutting back easy. A built in ion sensor tests the salinity of foods so you can make smart choices. Better yet, the design works in tandem with an app on your smartphone that tracks your daily intake and even coaches you on meal planning and healthier food options. Ancient Architecture-Inspired Vases Posted: 04 Dec 2014 12:00 AM PST Babilus is inspired by the architecture of ancient cities, temples and altars, resonating human kind’s aspiration for verticality. As a series, the vessels illustrate an ancient city’s skyline, while each one stands alone as a functional product with a powerful presence that strikes the imagination. The series comes in 4 different sizes: a vase for a single flower, for a bouquet, or for a small plant. Each combines natural materials like bamboo and chipboard with Corean manipulated to resemble stone. Built layer by layer, the resulting character has a raw, rich and vivid texture.
