Just When You Need It … The Sound Blaster Roar Posted: 20 Nov 2014 09:37 AM PST The Sound Blaster Roar is a portable Bluetooth Wireless speaker, designed to deliver loud and well-balanced audio out of a compact booklet-sized speaker. This is made possible, all thanks to its five-driver design that is housed within an acoustically optimized speaker enclosure. This design encompasses one active 2.5" driver and two side-firing passive radiators to pump out thumping bass, as well as two active 1.5" drivers to deliver far-field, balanced highs.
The design of the Sound Blaster Roar aims not to only deliver impressive audio quality; it also stands out as a stylish conversation piece with its metallic finishing and purposeful clean lines. It comes as no surprise that this device won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014. For a portable speaker of its size, the Sound Blaster Roar already delivers accurate, well-balanced, and precise audio. You can also simply boost the loudness, depth and spaciousness of the audio instantly with the Roar feature. This is especially handy for house parties. Critically Acclaimed Worldwide The Sound Blaster Roar is well-received by many – tech reviewers and proud owners alike. Available now, at an attractive price of $149.99 via Creative.com/roar and Amazon.com. Yanko Design readers will get to enjoy a special 10% off via Creative.com/roar and Amazon.com with promo code "YANKOTEN". Promo code expires on 18 November 2014. Posted: 20 Nov 2014 04:41 AM PST From the makers of the super-portable T1 lamp comes an equally minimalist counterpart that feels right at home on the top of your desk. Called the T2 lamp, its thin form is achieved thanks to a custom LED board producing 520 Lux of brightness using only 2 watts of power! In a material mix of natural wood, steel glass, and colorful cording, it’s the best looking T lamp yet. - Related posts:

The Proper Way To Listen To Music Posted: 20 Nov 2014 12:01 AM PST Audiophile or not, the basic requirement for enjoying your music is a great speaker. If you add portability, then you have a winner on your hands. I’m talking about the Proper Audio 2, a speaker that offers rich sound and great flexibility. The truth behind portable speakers is that they are mostly used at home or at work, so instead of paying a premium for a tiny speaker, PA2 gives you useful movability, great sound and sleek looks at an amazing price. Here are a couple of reasons why I’d recommend you back this amazingly awesome Kickstarter project:
What really excited me is that this is also the world's first magnetic iPhone speaker mount. We spoke with the designers to expand on this and Alon Tamir said, “With simple tap and go iPhone mounting, your speaker becomes the best place to leave your iPhone and enjoy movies, music videos, coverflow, facetime, Skype or anything else with great, big sound. It’s a completely new speaker experience.” Enough said! The speakers are classy and a must-have, so check out the full details here. Designer: StudioProper [ Buy it Here ] - Related posts: |
Posted: 20 Nov 2014 12:01 AM PST To ensure produce is free of dangerous pesticides and other residue, it is recommended they’re submerged for 20-30 minutes, but running water for that long is unrealistic and wasteful. To aid in the process, the Anton Strainer Bowl is designed to keep the contents submerged until you’re ready to strain with a simple filter and spout placed on the side rather than bottom. Better yet the placement avoids overfilling and its long spout doubles as a handle for easy maneuvering in the kitchen. Vid after the jump! Designer: Caveman Factory - Related posts: |
Posted: 20 Nov 2014 12:01 AM PST The Alchemist Matter kit teaches you how to create DIY matter through physicochemical phenomena. Mind blown? In a nutshell… it’s a cleverly designed for kids, teaching them to experiment with components that look similar to the naked eye but react differently—the same way that alchemists, the ancestors of chemists, did! It’s the first steps for basic chemistry presented in a fun, hands-on, educational way! See how it works…. This educational toolkit is composed of three modular test-tube racks, with containers filled with different raw materials, and a manual that guides you though a gradual learning process. Once you have used the raw material samples, you can easily refill the containers with the same or different raw materials, as suggested in the instruction manual. The raw material samples come from products generally used around the home. All the sample materials are easy to find and innocuous. They are both fundamental principles of this product. They must not be placed in the mouth, and for that reason the activities require the supervision of an adult. Designer: Laurence Humier - Related posts: |
