Yanko Design - Form Beyond Function |
Posted: 28 Oct 2014 09:13 AM PDT This redesign of the Oculus VR Headset focuses on user familiarity to more comfortably introduce this new virtual reality gaming tech. The design’s clean, sleek look more closely resembles a pair of fancy ski goggles, avoiding the over-embelishment and obviousness of the current headset. The product appeals to the gaming audience all while keeping a look for anything other virtual reality application. Designer: Syed Rahman - Related posts: |
Posted: 28 Oct 2014 05:42 AM PDT The ‘Aircon+E’ is akin to a fan that uses thermo-element technology, so when it works with electricity, it cools like an air-conditioner. The fan can be charged and used on its integrated battery, hence portable. Basically the personal fan has graduated to a personal air-conditioner on the go! Posted: 28 Oct 2014 05:24 AM PDT The Safe Box is a safe haven or shelter intended for children and the older civilians who are caught in the crossfire of a war. It's a protective shelter that hopes to keep safe the innocent, till they are able to evacuate to a neutral place. The boxes can be air dropped to specific areas and are bullet proof. A better alternate is to stop the war so that such boxes are not required! Designers: So JaeEi and Lee Jae Hwa - Related posts: |
Posted: 28 Oct 2014 12:01 AM PDT Introducing, REST: the world’s most compact, foldable seat! In its collapsed form, it’s so small it can fit in your pocket… but expand it and you’ve got a comfy place to rest your bum. The magic lies in its unique telescopic structure that’s easily stretched and locked in place in mere seconds. Perfect for long lines of any kind, concerts, sporting events and more! Posted: 28 Oct 2014 12:01 AM PDT The inspiration behind Jacob Mazor’s Flat Chandelier came from a desire to turn the single hanging bulb in his flat into proper lighting, but having a limited budget that didn’t allow for it. Totally been there! The result is a playful pendant illusion. What it lacks in diffusing the bulb’s brightness, it makes up for in adding character and charm to any interior! Better yet, it’s super-affordable and flat-pack ready. Own it here! Designer: Jacob Mazor - Related posts: |
