Posted: 13 Oct 2014 10:15 AM PDT Flashlights can be your best friend in a power outage, but the last thing you need are dead batteries, so it makes sense that it charge from the most reliable power source available… YOU! That’s precisely the inspiration behind the Lume flashlight. It uses peltier plates to turn heat from your hands into usable energy. Its sculptural design is also more ergonomic and encourages the user to keep it displayed and handy rather than hidden. Designer: Lane Stith - Related posts:

Time For A Griffin Emblem Watch Posted: 13 Oct 2014 12:18 AM PDT No matter how many digital versions you may get, none can replace the romanticism of owning a mechanical watch. It has the advantage of living through generations, and being passed on the family as a legacy. The showcasing of the movement through a skeletonized dial, the magic of the construction … irreplaceable! Perhaps this is why we encourage innovations like the Griffin Emblem Watch. Griffin Emblem embodies the sentiments of being courageous, determined and living in the future. Inspired by the legend of Griffin, which in Greek mythology is a lion's body with an eagle's head. French designer Alain Recuze and his team have a winner in their hands, with this super mechanical watch; the precise mechanical movement is visible through the skeletonized dial. The 316L stainless steel case houses a Citizen Miyota Movement; it is one of the few high quality mechanical movements that can challenge the famous Swiss-made ETA mechanical movement! To sum it up, here is a watch that represents fashion, style and the grounding of a mechanical watch. It's the kinds that you would want to wear now and pass on to the next generation. Currently in its PreOrder Phase and at affordable pricing, get yours here. Specifications of Griffin Emblem automatic watches:

Posted: 13 Oct 2014 12:01 AM PDT SRSLY! You won’t find any delicate nylon material to rip, or flimsy metal rods that’ll break… in fact, no canopy at all! Instead, this innovative design uses air flow to protect the user from rain. Call the Air Umbrella, it creates an invisible shield with multidirectional air-jets that dispel raindrops and keep the user dry. Though it looks high-tech, it’s actually quite simple. Better yet, it might just be available sooner than you think. Jump to the vid! Designers: Various - Related posts: |
Posted: 13 Oct 2014 12:01 AM PDT PriestmanGoode’s concept for the New London Tube is inspired by contemporary London, its culture and architectural landmarks, and iconic British transport design. The walk-through train features air-cooled cars, digital screens for live updates, and wider doors for quicker turnaround. Natural finishes and materials in a palette of colors including charcoal, grey and oxblood were derived from looking at the heritage, architecture and landmarks of London.
