10 awesome multifunctional furniture that are perfect for small spaces Posted: 18 Sep 2014 12:03 AM PDT Multifunctional furniture is often very practical, and it also needs to be ingenuous to work well. In this post I share some of the coolest furniture that can serve multiple purposes. 1. The Flop armchairArmchair or bed, you decide. A perfect furniture for people who frequently have visitors. Designed by Elena Sidorova. 2. Sweetch 18An adaptation of the Rietveld chair that can turn into a table. Designed by BenoĆ®t Lienart. 3. Sofa & pool tableA sofa with a boring design that unexpectedly turns into… a pool table. 4. The sunflower chairA great chair that also serves as a library. Even better, it doesn’t only look good, it also looks quite comfortable. 5. Work + PlayWork from home without turning your house or appartment in an office. A great concept by Gruber + Schlager. 6. Multi-functional Furniture for KidsThe Multi-functional Furniture by Adensen Furniture is rightly something every parent has dreamed of. Especially designed for kids up to 10 years old, the smart furniture could be changed into a crib, a table, storage drawers, shelves, and a bigger bed, etc.
7. SchairA simple chair with a wired structure that can be splitted in two to be shared. 8. Painting chairA furniture that I wouldn’t want in my home, but quite funny nonetheless. Paintings and their frames that can turn into chairs. 9. Multifunctional shelfA spectacular shelf that can serve for multiple purposes. 10. Tiny ping pong tableA kid’s table that can also be used to play ping pong. The post 10 awesome multifunctional furniture that are perfect for small spaces appeared first on Design daily news. Pantone-inspired beer packaging Posted: 17 Sep 2014 10:43 PM PDT The simplest ideas are often the best. Txaber Design Studio created some packaging for beers that just matched the color of the liquid inside using the corresponding Pantone color. The result is surprisingly good, at least it made me thirsty. The post Pantone-inspired beer packaging appeared first on Design daily news. Download the free transport icons package now! |
Clever doodles that interact with their environment Posted: 17 Sep 2014 10:20 PM PDT Amsterdam-based French illustrator David Troquier released a series of drawings that interact with each other or with their environment. Titled “Cartoonbombing”, this series of doodles does a great job convincing us that there is some action going on.
