Posted: 11 Jun 2014 08:07 AM PDT The Wheel is a dynamic washing machine concept that works like a treadmill and uses human kinetic power. Combining health with purpose is a great combination and perhaps the biggest USP of this project. As a crossover between a gym bike and a washing machine, the setup is ideal to ensure that we stick to our exercise routine. In short – no running, no clean clothes – sort of! Features:

Posted: 11 Jun 2014 07:57 AM PDT By day, the Homeless Haven is like any regular park bench and by night it can transform into a temporary shelter. Designed like an expanding accordion, the bench simply elevates and extends into a cozy shelter, giving refuge from the elements. Smart! Multifunctional Moon-like Lighting Posted: 11 Jun 2014 12:01 AM PDT Subinay Malhotra’s No.22 lighting series merges natural shapes and materials with modern multifunctional technology to form a collection that’s as organic as it is other-worldly. Crafted from lightweight gypsum, each design can be used a table, floor or pendant lighting accent… but it’s really what’s inside that counts. Aside from efficient LEDS, each is embedded with not only the latest wireless technology to be controlled via a smartphone app, but a Bluetooth hard drive for a secret data storage solution. Forget the cloud, save your stuff in the moon! Designer: Subinay Malhotra - Related posts:

Posted: 11 Jun 2014 12:01 AM PDT We’ve all forgotten where we parked the car at some point, but if you’ve ever forgotten where you’ve locked up your bike then you know it can be an even worse nightmare trying to find it! No alarm to trigger. Hard to spot amongst other bikes. Not fun! Until now… the 24h FROLIC: Bluetooth Bike Bell + App is an ingenious addition to your bicycle that’s actually a GPS locator in disguise. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy tech to pair with your phone. Once the signal has been broken it pins your bike’s location on a map. Just pull up the app to locate! Designer: Andrew Spitz & Ruben van der Vleuten - Related posts: |
