Posted: 28 May 2014 09:26 AM PDT While most of us have been talking about the advantages of having a charger integrated into the Smartphone case, cool dudes at LAB.C have already gone ahead and made their version. The Cable Case for iPhone 5S integrates an 8-pin USB cable into the back of the case, allowing you to ALWAYS have a charger on-hand. Clever! In Case Of Emergency – Break Door Posted: 28 May 2014 09:14 AM PDT The X-gate addresses one of the biggest situations faced in the aftermath of an earthquake: entrapment. Typically, doors are heavy and main doors are dead-bolt heavy for a reason. The X-gate's design is such that it can be shattered with ease, thus aiding rescue operations. I suppose its ideal for cities that live in the earthquake zone. Designer: Ying-Hsuan Lee - Related posts: |
A bike worthy of the name Bison Posted: 28 May 2014 07:08 AM PDT With its hybrid design language that allows users to transition between on and off-road modes, the Bison bicycle is the last and only bike you need. The good: robust yet lightweight composite frame, hybrid handlebars, 29″ rims, convenient one-click storage box. The bad: there’s only one example… but maybe not for long (including an electric version to come). Watch it come to life —> Designer: Sam Antiqechian

Posted: 28 May 2014 12:01 AM PDT Sometimes ya gotta get a little tricky to get kids off the couch and outside to exercise! The Attivo series of playground equipment focuses on exercising the entire body with a variety of fun games that isolate different areas to improve agility and coordination. It includes a climbing station for upper body, skateboard ramp station for balance and building core muscles, an abacus style station for lower body, and finally a small goal with net in the middle for groups to play games on both sides. The Little Amp that Packs a Lot of Punch Posted: 28 May 2014 12:01 AM PDT It’s no secret that a little acoustic amplification can go a long way to enhance the bottom speaker on your phone… but few amplifiers do it quite as conveniently as the Audiobendr. Made of stretchy rubber, the design snaps on to your phone in a jiffy to redirect & amplify sound for videos or music. It’s even small enough to use while playing games without it getting in the way of your hands. Waterproof, dirtproof, & scratchproof, you can use & abuse without worry!
