Premium, Elegant and Ergonomic Posted: 01 May 2014 07:43 AM PDT Steve Jobs started work on a tablet before the iPhone and had the idea of a device that got rid of the keyboard, type on a multi-touch glass display; the rest is history. Aligned with this visionary who thought ultimately, it comes down to taste is the FLOTE, a premium, elegant tablet stand engineered like no other. A lot many times we end up using our tablets in the most uncomfortable postures. Results are backaches and bad eyesight. Whoever thought using a tablet was restricted to certain angles only, has it all wrong. Let's look in-depth into the FLOTE Stand, on that claims to be the Best Stand Ever! A Kickstarter success, the project created an impressive buzz in 2012. The innovation stems in providing a solution that enhance a user’s tablet experience, particularly when they are using their tablet to read, watch or browse for prolonged periods of time. Let's not even get into the comparison charts of other lower-priced products. It's simply futile because none can match the premium, elegant and ergonomic solution that the FLOTE offers. It is compatible with all types of tablets present and future. In essence it is future proof. Evidence of Good Design is a product that is functional, beautiful and sustainable. The FLOTE addresses all of these; it is for those who appreciate clean design, thoughtful engineering, and precision manufacturing built for a lifetime of use. The range includes the FLOTE m2 Floor & Bed Tablet Stand, which is an adjustable floor and bed stand for the tablet. Cuddle in your bed and stream in the latest episode of Game of Thrones and watch without and fuss! The FLOTE Desktop Tablet Stand is ideal for desks, study tables, podiums, schools and basically any desktop scenario. The Orbit is ideal for small spaces like crowded kitchen countertops, retail checkout areas and bedside tables etc. What tips the scales for us is the fact that is engineered like no other stand that we have seen or reviewed up till now. The luxury of effortlessly adjusting your tablet and as often as you’d like simple creates a delightful and ergonomic tablet experience! As simple as that! Posted: 01 May 2014 07:07 AM PDT Marinna is an ingenious docking system consisting of floating modules that can be combined in a variety of configurations to suit individual harbor areas without impacting the existing environment with permanent construction. Aside from providing a place for boats to dock, the modular platforms also create a recreational area for tourists, locals and boaters alike, with park-style seating, WiFi, clean water and electricity. Phiaton Bridge MS 500 Headphones Review Posted: 01 May 2014 12:56 AM PDT Winning a 2014 iF product design award is no small feat. These headphones, like all of Phiaton’s headphones, are sleek and ooze with style. In lieu of flashy, colorful polycarbonate bodies, the MS 500 is made of metal wrapped in soft Italian leather. If Beats by Dre are for the hipster urbanites, the MS 500 must be for the kids that graduated that class a few years ago and are looking forward to something a little more sophisticated. My only gripe is they can get a tad uncomfortable after extended use. Hit the jump for my video review! Designer: Phiaton, Buy it on Amazon - Related posts: |
A Frequent Flyer’s Best Friend Posted: 01 May 2014 12:01 AM PDT If you’ve ever been severely delayed at the airport then you’ll appreciate this clever folding floor mat! It’s called RESMO and was designed for airport operators to provide to tired travelers in the event of a delay. It can be unfolded into a variety of positions to lay down or sit and features a built-in shield to create a sense of privacy in otherwise public areas. Exactly what stressed passengers need to be happy campers! Designer: Chien-Hui Ko - Related posts: |
Not quite a sofa, not quite a bench. Posted: 01 May 2014 12:01 AM PDT The Woodstick Sofa isn’t what you’d normally think of a sofa… or a bench for that matter! It’s a hybrid of both! Made of solid wood, it’s similar to a bench. Its shape and comfortability, however, were inspired by the internal framework of the average cushioned sofa and thanks to its highly developed hard maple slats, it’s just as comfortable! They’re rigid enough to support a person, yet just elastic enough to conform and flex to their body. Designer: Give & Take - Related posts: |
