Posted: 21 Apr 2014 08:16 AM PDT It's getting hotter by the day and as the temperatures soar don't you wish you were back to shoveling snow. Ah, yes grass is always greener on the other side! Inspired by the ice cream scoop, we have here the Showvel – a snow shovel that scoops snow into balls. Making snowman gets easier and more fun; winter please come soon! Posted: 21 Apr 2014 08:06 AM PDT We have way too many hoardings and en route distractions while driving, and I complete get what these designers mean by 'crowded traffic lights'. Any visible space that comes in the line-of-vision of the driver is populated with clutter; hence the CEF Traffic Lights looks at remedying it. Modular enough to fit in various functions like a camera, the lights simplify the current option. CEF Traffic Lights is an iF Design Awards – Concept Design Entry for 2014. Posted: 21 Apr 2014 04:37 AM PDT Cella is a specially constructed planter pod made of flexible, lightweight plastic to house moss and small plug plants. Cella creates a microclimate where they will thrive both indoors and outdoors. Its 3D voronoi shape was adapted specifically for moss which gets all its nutrients from the air and doesn’t require soil. The versatile structure can be attached to any wall, hanged from the ceiling, or rest on any surface. There are no limits to your urban landscaping vision! Designer: Ecoid - Related posts:

Posted: 21 Apr 2014 12:24 AM PDT Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. It’s been an incredibly busy month here at YD so I haven’t had much time to capture all the videos I wanted but I promise more product reviews are coming. In the meantime, enjoy episode 8. I’m talkin’ Booq Viper hard cases, the red dot winning Sol Republic RELAYS and see how my Click & Grow herb garden is doing. TRANISM is a weekly vlog series on YouTube. Posted: 21 Apr 2014 12:01 AM PDT The Twist Hinge Eyewear collection offers a delightful new interaction for the wearer by twisting rather than folding! The first of its kind, the twisting hinge also allows the wearer to adjust the pantoscopic tilt of the frames to their liking. Stronger, more flexible and with a cool industrial style, they’re a definite style win. Designer: Ryan Glasgow - Related posts: |
Posted: 21 Apr 2014 12:01 AM PDT Introducing, Spot On- a pocket lamp as strong as automobile headlights and almost as small as a smartphone… but also stylish enough to bring indoors as a modern home lighting accent. Ingeniously simple, yet highly effective, the design transforms the light beam from the flashlight into a cone-shaped lampshade and therefore a fitment with a stylish shape. It’s a breath of fresh air in the living rooms of style-conscious sportspeople! Designer: Maximilian Schmid - Related posts: |
