Posted: 23 Jan 2014 09:55 AM PST Metropolis is a project designed to express two opposing bedside tables- one representing day and the other night. The overall shape of the tables are the same, but the details and colors are in complete contrast. Day is portrayed as more calm, friendly and inviting… while the night has more of a extroverted, polarizing, even sinister character. Designer: Brian Khouw - No related posts. |
Posted: 23 Jan 2014 09:26 AM PST The Portable Insect Repellent is designed as a sleek charm that can be attached onto your backpack and remain unobtrusive. It quietly diffuses the repellent and keeps your environment insect-free. I love the idea of keeping this simple-designed and portable; making sure you can carry it everywhere without feeling odd. Posted: 23 Jan 2014 09:16 AM PST Love this clever design for a Fire Extinguisher! It has several water bombs – or balls if you'd like to call them that, which can be used instantly for small fires. It's definitely a radical redesign that I'm seeing for the first time. Several tweaks to it and you can have a brand new take on how to put out fires! Posted: 23 Jan 2014 12:01 AM PST Self-driving cars are now a reality with companies like Google finding success in their driverless programs. We often associate the idea with how it affects us and our personal vehicles, but the question remains as to what it means for public transportation. The BOT concept is one glimpse into how autonomous mass transit of the future might look… and it’s freakin’ adorable! Check out the cartoon to see how it works! Removing the Hassle from Smart Energy Posted: 23 Jan 2014 12:01 AM PST The Parce One is a smart home device that measures and controls the energy usage of your electronic devices to save you money by reducing your energy consumption. Wirelessly connecting with the Parce cloud, the Parce One intelligently learns how you use energy, producing visual reports to enable you to clearly see where you can be saving. Set it up to manage things automatically or take control at any time through easy to use web and mobile apps! Designers: Florian Burchett, Eugen Pflüger, & Christian Remiger - Related posts: |
