Posted: 19 Aug 2013 08:45 AM PDT For those who like flyin’ solo, the Peugeot Mini Car is the super-sub-compact to have. No longer and only slightly wider than a motorcycle, the Peugeot is characterized by a robust, animal-like stance and futuristic, Tron-styling. The driver can access the cockpit from either side or the front, depending on preference. Once inside, the driver has an almost complete view of the vehicle’s surroundings thanks to extensive glass on the top, front, and sides. Designer: Bolun Wang - Related posts: |
Posted: 19 Aug 2013 01:34 AM PDT Apple Concepts are getting to repetitive these days so its great to see some Nokia indulgence. What we have here is the Nokia Lumia 999 Concept and it features a 4.3″ screen. Details include hardware buttons are pressure sensitive (not capacitive) and you can’t push it mechanically. The use of aluminum and return to the old Lumia design line offers a more symmetrical look. What do you think? Designer: Phone Designer [ Jonas Dähnert ] - Related posts: |
Posted: 19 Aug 2013 01:13 AM PDT Only if the Titanic had been adequately equipped with rescue gear, many more people would have survived the sinking. The thing with disasters is that they are unpredictable and the only way to outsmart it is to be prepared. Life Guide is one such rescue equipment that takes advantage of technology to ensure safe rescues on a capsizing boat or ship. Designed as a quarter-circle shaped device, it hooks onto three others, to complete a full circle. It can be used as an alternate light source and in the event of an emergency red LED light start flashing. Essentially the device can be used as a flashlight, exit guide and flotation gear. RFID signals connect each device to the nearest emergency exit. I like the scope of this gear and hopefully it inspires something as comprehensive as this. Designer: Huang-yu Chen - Related posts:

Posted: 19 Aug 2013 01:05 AM PDT Communication is the key element in watch design and the Till Watch fulfils this norm by speaking to you visually. Exemplifying the relationship between now and then, this cool time-telling machine doesn't believe in cold numbers. For example, its not 10:50, it's "Ten Till Ten." If you ask me, I'd like my watch to read… 'Till death do us apart! Available in Black and Brushed Stainless Steel at CKIE. Designer: Daniel Will-Harris [ Buy it Here ] - Related posts: |
Posted: 19 Aug 2013 12:02 AM PDT The Leica ROBO was designed to minimize human error in the construction industry while saving money & time by preventing costly mistakes & reducing the number of workers. The device uses Leica’s EDM laser technology to determine where the device is located within the partially built building, then using a CAD model of the building, it paints lines on the ground where interior walls are to be placed. It also uses its laser to point to key mounting points on the ceiling for systems like fire supression & HVAC. Designer: Ben Azzam - Related posts: |
Posted: 19 Aug 2013 12:01 AM PDT The latest from Toer, the Loops Clock, features a looped curl instead of traditional hands that reflect the continuous, circular nature of time! Each end represents the hours and minutes. Every now and then, when they overlap, the twist make a tiny jump to untangle itself! Check out the vid to see it in action!
