Posted: 14 Aug 2013 10:28 AM PDT The Nokia TANA is a conceptual Tablet PC with stunning looks and features. The ample display has decreased border widths and the rounded edges offer a steady grip. This is one of those situations where the awesome renders do the talking, so enough said!

Posted: 14 Aug 2013 09:56 AM PDT Inside each avocado is a large seed that you can plant to grow a brand new tree! The Avocado Sprouter serves as the perfect platform for the unique rooting process. It’s crucial that the bottom 1/4th of the seed is held underwater for weeks in order for roots to sprout, so the design ensures the seed is suspended perfectly each time. After you see roots grow, you can transfer it to a pot or outdoors for your own home-grown houseplant and eventually a fruiting tree! Designer: Amir Elias - Related posts:

Posted: 14 Aug 2013 09:54 AM PDT The Growth Crib is one ingenious design that embodies sustainability and innovation. It features a construction where the base of the bed can expand and keep 'growing' as the baby grows. Once the baby outgrows the safety rails, you can remove and use them as a trendy rack. So many constructive elements within it, no wonder it was a 2012 IDEA Awards winner! Designers: Shang Zhi, Qi Qiu & Surong Sun - Related posts: |
Posted: 14 Aug 2013 12:01 AM PDT Unlike many other smart-watch concepts, the Echo doesn’t stray from the familiar watch form. Instead, it merges the most essential smartphone apps into a simplistic touch-screen circular face. Access your email, calendar, map, fitness and music apps all from the convenience of your wrist! Check out the vid to see it’s near-perfect interface —> Designer: Brian Khouw - Related posts: |
Ignore Mom! Play with your food! Posted: 14 Aug 2013 12:01 AM PDT Pixelate is a Guitar-Hero-style eating game in which players compete in a one-minute showdown to see who can eat the most food in the correct order. (Yes, fo’ real!) A digital interface built into a custom dining table shows players which foods to eat and when, while the game detects whether they've eaten the correct food by measuring the food's resistance on the fork. Pixelate gameifies the act of eating, challenging players to consider whether they think before they eat, or eat before they think! Video after the jump! Designers: Sures Kumar & Lana Z Porter
