Posted: 13 Aug 2013 09:10 AM PDT Following in the footsteps of companies like LIT Motors, the Volkswagen AERROW concept vehicle marries the benefits of both the car and motorcycle into a one-person urban commuter. Powered by a TDI-Hybridmotor, it’s more efficient and aerodynamic like a motorcycle. But, its completely enclosed cabin and extra room for cargo make it akin to a car. Electric gyroscopes keep the vehicle balanced at stop lights and even during accidents! Designer: Andreas Blazunaj - No related posts. |
Posted: 13 Aug 2013 02:22 AM PDT The non-fuss E-spatula is a primary examination device that a doctor uses to depress your tongue and peek inside your throat. This clever gadget integrates the spatula, light, and thermometer and takes the patient's temperature in just one procedure. The device includes a disposable tip, which is a single-use transparent silicone shell. This helps maintain hygine.
E-spatula is a 2012 red dot award: design concept winner. Designers: Bao Haimo, Tang Ya, Wu Bei, Xu Kun & Qiao Song - Related posts: |
Posted: 13 Aug 2013 01:01 AM PDT The Parenting-Battery is a twist to the numerous battery concepts we have seen here on Yanko Design. It basically houses two pencil cells that can be collectively used as one battery. Moreover you can directly recharge the cell thanks to the embedded socket plug. Looks to be a bit complicated to function, but you get the drift, right? The idea is to prolong the useful life of the battery and stay within the eco-friendly parameters. Posted: 13 Aug 2013 12:01 AM PDT The Stealth light’s simplistic form is achieved by laser-cutting and folding a single sheet of super-strong and lightweight perspex. Mountable on the wall or ceiling, its sleek, barely-there aesthetic will garner compliments without overpowering a room. Designer: Timothy Ben Furniture - Related posts: |
A simple way to make crushed ice Posted: 13 Aug 2013 12:01 AM PDT Fine crushed ice is reserved for those with a fancy in-door refrigerator dispenser, right? Wrong! This hand-held ice crusher works by manually twisting each end to activate the internal crushing components. Small enough to throw in a drawer, now anyone can have flaky ice to add an aesthetic and textural effect to beverages! Designer: Jeroen van der Liende - Related posts:
