eBay launches an iPhone app for 3D printing afficionados

eBay has recently announced the launch of an iPhone app that will probably help with the popularization of 3D printing. The app is named eBay Exact, it will let buyers customize the products they want to purchase.

The app was made possible by a partnership with several large 3D printing companies: Sculpteo, MakerBot and Hot Pop Factory. Some customizable products were handpicked, for now mostly iPhone cases, figurines and jewelry.

No, the title of this post isn’t a rape joke, I condemn rape jokes the way they should be condemned, but it seems that the People’s court of Manzhouli, in China, doesn’t mind metaphorically suggesting what will happen if you go to jail.
