Yanko Design - Form Beyond Function |
Finally, a stroller tots will love! Posted: 03 May 2013 09:27 AM PDT One problem with current stroller designs is that they do little to appeal to the emotional attachment of the toddlers who ride in them. Most are built around functionalities required by parents, & aesthetics take a back seat. But what’s the point if your kid is miserable riding in it?! After all, happy kids make happy parents! The Strollon stroller taps into the imagination of the child & yet doesn’t sacrifice functionality. It’s so cool you’ll wish you were small enough to ride in it. The idea was to give kids a stroller experience that makes them feel as if they have their own car, so the design is fit with features like a windscreen, lateral windows, doors, and a sporty exterior. Posted: 03 May 2013 03:27 AM PDT P. L. P of Light or Road Construction Warning Lights are retractable OLED light belts that help cordon off areas on the main road where construction or an accident has occurred. Traffic cones and other warning lights are not as effective as we believe them to be. In order to make sure the workers' safety is top-notch, this design combines OLED, retractable belt and solar energy.

Posted: 03 May 2013 03:00 AM PDT Here is another vintage look at what cellphones can grow to become. Yes, transparent screens are a must and so is the passion for expansive displays. With Google Glasses and other such innovative tech coming around the bend, we have to pause and rethink our perception of communication. Maybe the future of phones will no longer be a candy bar or clamshells. What do you think? Designer: Huang Wei - Related posts: |
Posted: 03 May 2013 12:01 AM PDT The Matchbox table was named for its unique resemblance to an old-school matchbox created by its contrasting materials. It merges playfulness with modern elegance in an occasional table you can write on. On one end, raw wood makes a clean surface for placing objects, and on the other is a chalkboard surface for drawing, scribbling ideas, or creating your own unique designs!
