Posted: 03 Apr 2013 09:15 AM PDT Younggun Cho’s eco-friendly set of birch smartphone stands are hungry for your phone! Each playful stand makes for a fun desktop accessory that props up your device but also functions as an amplifier for your phone’s speaker thanks to its internal acoustics. Posted: 03 Apr 2013 12:01 AM PDT If this rabbit looks familiar, it’s because you probably saw it as a kid, or have even seen her in your own kid’s books today! The lead character in Dutch artist Dick Bruna’s picture book series, Miffy the rabbit has been around since 1955. As old as she is, her iconic, minimal aesthetic is the epitome of timeless. This modern lamp by Story North brings new life to Miffy, further preserving the familiar fragment from many of our childhoods. Designer: Story North - Related posts: |
Posted: 03 Apr 2013 12:01 AM PDT Kakum is a minimal, ergonomic accessory for your workspace that eliminates the need for those cumbersome (and often ugly) wrist-supporting mouse pads. Unlike most stationary wrist supports, the lightweight design easily slides with your arm as you move across the desk. Adapted for the most natural and comfortable position of the user’s wrist while using a mouse, the design improves form and prevents hand and wrist strain over long term use. See it in action after the jump. Designer: İbrahim Guvendikler - Related posts: |
What’s not to love about a tipi?! Posted: 03 Apr 2013 12:01 AM PDT Building home-made tipis & forts were one of the most fun parts of growing up, so it’s easy to see the appeal in this award-winning tipi no matter your age. Mikasi is a lightweight, portable, and easy to assemble kit that expands or collapses from large to small thanks to it’s unique & simple construction. Whether you’re at the beach, in the yard, or in your living room, this modern homage to the nomadic home invites you to relax, work, or just let your imagination run wild inside. The Most Awesome Multi-tool Sheath Posted: 03 Apr 2013 12:00 AM PDT I was a hardcore Tim Allen addict during his Home Improvement days. What fascinated me at that time was the myriad of tools that he had easy access to. I also learned that you never mess with a man and his handy tools! Which is why I totally get the fundamentals behind the Skinth, a slim but capable multi-tool sheath. Designed to articulate and organize your handy tools in an array of pockets, the Skinth is crafted from the ground up making it easily customizable. The pet of every gadget guru, the pockets in this sheath are versatile enough to accommodate both devices and tools.
Essentially, small multi-tools are a fantastic option when compared to those bulky tool kits. To ensure your handy tool-kit stays together, Skinth organizes and makes them ready to be used at the flip of a flap! I love this true-story of a plumber who swears by customized Skinth XL. Our real-life Mario has easy access to 30 tools ranging from a Victorinox Swiss Spirit MT to a pair of 4" channel lock pliers, and 90% of the time he completes his job faster because he doesn't have to head back to the truck and retrieve more tools. Job done faster = efficiency + lower costs! Mr. Plumber, I need your number now! One last thing, every Sunday Skinth releases a Sunday Prototype, which is basically a new model or an existing model with modifications, custom work, or a current model with a new color option, showcased. I am looking forward to this Sunday, for all you know they may have a YD special! Find them on Facebook here. Skinth: Buy it Here - Related posts: |
