Posted: 05 Mar 2013 09:10 AM PST The Salt & Pepper Slides are a modern, elegant twist on classic shakers that were designed around the idea that contents could gently slide out versus being shaken out. A small capsule in the center holds the pepper or salt which are easily & intuitively distributed by simply lifting the upward tail of the S-shaped shaker. Designer: Guo Wei Chen - Related posts: |
And Now It’s Time For A nWatch Posted: 05 Mar 2013 07:26 AM PST I love the passion that drives designer Mohammad Mahdi Azimi, he dishes out great Nokia concepts even in the troubled times of this erstwhile phone giant. Let's take a look at his Nokia LUMIA Watch concept. With features like pressure indicator, compass, altimeter, GPS, Calorie meter, 4G LTE and syncing with the Lumia series of phones, this one is a good competition for the iWatch, what do you think? Give Azimi a shoutout on his Facebook page or here. Designer: Mohammad Mahdi Azimi - No related posts. |
Posted: 05 Mar 2013 02:54 AM PST One of the perks at being with Yanko Design is that our editors get to travel a lot. For Essen (the red dot gala), Troy + his gadgets come in from the US and I bring my stuff from India. The common problem we both have is – Plugs! Charging our equipment was an issue easily solved by bringing along a charging adaptor, however their bulk and low quality soon became a concern. I'm kinda happy to have found the AViiQ Slim Travel Adapter, which is high on quality and design. Most universal travel adapters are a pain because they are big and bulky and rarely fit conveniently into the laptop bag. The AViiQ Slim Travel gives you a single conversion from US 110V (Type B) to UK 240V (Type G) in a slim folding outlet adapter. The travel power adapter folds open to plug into a standard UK type G outlet and folds flat to easily store for travel. Good Design = innovation and usefulness, the Patented Designs from AViiQ come with this assurance. Considered to be an innovator of mobile accessories for the digital lifestyle, I'm sure the rest of my team will want to add an AViiQ accessory to their bag, when they head out next. What do you say Long Tran?

Posted: 05 Mar 2013 12:01 AM PST Designed with small businesses, merchants, and local agriculturalists in mind, Ceal is an innovative tool that makes it possible to easily close up almost any type of bag. No bigger than a blow-dryer, the lightweight, durable device can quickly and safely seal produce, clothing, or any other dry good. The stitching pattern won’t provide an air-tight hold, but it’s a great solution for cheaper, portable way to prepare bagged items for transportation or bulk selling. With TeleSound you can avoid the reading/typing altogether! The cute 1960s telephone-inspired speaker connects wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet & plays more than 1000 distinct sounds to express without words. Now you can create your own language with friends! Designers: Olivier Mével & Marc Chareyron - Related posts:
