Yanko Design - Form Beyond Function |
Posted: 01 Feb 2013 09:36 AM PST This structural lighting design applies basic cantilever physics with simple lines and geometries to form a perfectly minimal desktop lamp. Its two steel arms are reminiscent of iconic steel construction beams, giving it subtle industrial style that’s balanced by a spectrum of vibrant color options. Do want! Posted: 01 Feb 2013 07:38 AM PST Seems like déjà vu but the concept of marrying an eraser with a scanner is a very good one. The ES-X not only erases the whiteboard but also transmits the scanned content to a laptop. It can also post selected portion to Facebook (and hopefully other social mediums), but the point is to make it easy for students to take notes. I am all for devices that make school life easier, what do you say? Designer: Li Ke Wu - Related posts: |
Posted: 01 Feb 2013 07:33 AM PST What is this? Plain and simple rules: leave your guess in the comments and win loads of accolades and a shower of praises. Let's see how good you are at the Guessing Game! Say hello to the Laser Trash Can, which is an iF Design Talents (2012) entry. The idea behind the concept is to make it easy to seal the trash disposal bag in a jiffy. This makes sure you dispose garbage hygienically; sweet! Designer He Hao Chen - Related posts: |
Posted: 01 Feb 2013 12:01 AM PST In a world full of rigid, ultra-thin cases, the iPooding case stands out as a squishy, playful alternative for those in touch with their softer side. For enhanced ergonomics and shock absorbance, the clear urethane case is filled with harmless liquid paraffin. For a little flair, each colorful case is filled with floating dots that whirl around like a snow-globe. Ain’t it cute?! Designer: SUMNEEDS - Related posts: |
Posted: 01 Feb 2013 12:01 AM PST What’s the deal with archetypical urns looking so drab? Friends, if you’re reading this, please make sure my ashes end up in something a little sexier! Like the Urnel by Formboten- it’s a minimal and modern approach to the outdated object for people who want to be stylish even after they’ve passed! Put me in the black one, k, thnx.
