Posted: 07 Jan 2013 09:56 AM PST Designed by Stockholm-based design studio Whatswhat, the Pull lamp’s personality is both organic and distinctively true to its Scandinavian design heritage. The partly exposed, partly hidden cord is a connection between all elements while also serving as the mechanism to adjust the position of the shade. The user can simultaneously transform the angle of the light and character of the lamp by a simple adjustment of the cord. Designer: Whatswhat for Muuto - Related posts: |
Aesthetically Unique and Pleasing Posted: 07 Jan 2013 09:05 AM PST Typically this not the phrase you will use to describe an extension cord, but nevertheless, designer by Youngkwang Cho feels that he has the hang of it. I agree with him that extension cords and spike-busters are best left hidden behind sofas and desks, but if you have something as aesthetically unique and pleasing as the Curious Extension Plug, then maybe you'd like to show it off. As you can observe from images below, when the extension plug is not plugged-in, it forms a very resting shape, which gives an user that the product is not being used. Once the extension plug is plugged and in operation, it slowly begins to change its shape into more nervous-tension look which gives an impression that it is hot and be careful when you need to touch it.
