Posted: 29 Jan 2013 09:15 AM PST This E-inkey Keyboard Concept is pretty awesome if you ask me. Imagine using e-ink screens as keyboard buttons that allow us to use different layouts and customize keys as per our needs or program we are using at that moment! The use of E-ink technology gives it the power saving edge as well as the option of being wireless. Simply love it, what about you? Designers: Maxim Mezentsev & Aleksander Suhih - Related posts: |
Posted: 29 Jan 2013 09:03 AM PST The Ecologic Aircraft by designer Daphnis Fournier aims to be the first fully electric passenger plane, utilizing an inflatable structure above the main cabin that contains flexible photovoltaic panels to collect solar energy while flying above the clouds. For efficiency during take-off (when the most power is lost) the “balloon” remains flat, inflating only after reaching a maximum altitude. Designer: Daphnis Fournier - No related posts. |

Posted: 29 Jan 2013 12:01 AM PST The Samurai Chair’s striking aesthetic gives the illusion that it’s fallen victim to a samurai’s razor sharp katana. It will make you think twice before sitting down, but rest assure, it’s still capable of holding up to 330 lbs! Need proof huh? Hit the jump to see designer Seo Young Moon put it to the test. The Safest Place to Store Your Naughty Files Posted: 29 Jan 2013 12:01 AM PST Sure, there are passwords and various encryption technologies that protect confidential data, but what about protecting the hardware itself from getting in the wrong hands? Influenced by “old-school” security like padlocks and combination locks, the PE external hard drive aims to secure memory by toughening up the hardware itself. Want access to the info? Gotta know the combination! Designer: Jae-Hoon Lee - Related posts: |
