Posted: 05 Dec 2012 10:40 AM PST Out of all the fancy metal, plastic & other kitchen utensils I own, my wooden set is still the one I most often look to for a variety of uses. There have been plenty of metal, magnet, wall-mounted designs- so why not design a set for the ones people like me use most? Well now there is! Gigodesign’s Woodware series is the most modern & sleek use of natural wood in a utensil I’ve seen. The fork, spoon & spatula are easily kept handy with embedded magnets that can be attached to the wall mount or any other metal surface. Designer: Gigodesign - Related posts: |

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 03:33 AM PST The thing with buying Apple products is that you can't dress them up in just any old accessories. Whatever you use has to be of top-notch quality, befitting the Jobs legacy. For example, the new MacBook Pro with its shimmy new features deserves a sleeve from the Carga Sleeve Collection. Basically these hand-assembled sleeves are done in small batches using single-piece vegetable tanned leather. Elastic and leather closures add a dash of panache. The Sleeves are designed for the Apple portable range:

The diminutive, modern design is portable a& discrete. Operable with just one hand, simply slide in one motion to both prepares the lancet & dispenses a test strip. In less than 5 seconds users can finish their reading with results displayed on the LCD screen. A Different Kind of Anti-Theft Posted: 05 Dec 2012 12:01 AM PST When it comes to bicycle theft, the saying remains true- “if they want it bad enough, they’ll take it.” The designers at Cycling Boom believe bigger chains and bulky locks are just one solution to deterring theft, which is why they’ve created a unique tag system that is effective in a different way. These discrete metal tags can be placed anywhere on the bike and feature a custom identification number that can be looked up in an online universal registry system. Buyers can look up the used bike’s ID to ensure they aren’t purchasing a stolen bike, discouraging overall theft. Designer: Cycling Boom - Related posts: |
