The design features two powerful, separate LED lights, one facing up and one down, with separate dimming controls that allows for total control over the ambience by simply adjusting its two intuitive touch buttons. Reduction in form, but not in functionality! Designer: Claesson Koivisto Rune - Related posts: |

Plumen x Boskke and I Missed It! Posted: 06 Nov 2012 01:15 AM PST What the hell man! How did I miss the Plumen x Boskke Chandelier during London Design week way back in September? I must have hit one too many cups of NyQuil because I should have been there. The pictures from the London Shoreditch Station look so damn cool. Seriously, I want a coffee shop or tea shop equipped with free wifi, comfy seating, and these chandeliers. I also just found out these are the smaller and uber cute mini Plumen bulbs. MUST HAVE AND DO WANT! Did any of you see it in person? London Design Festival, Plumen x Boskke - No related posts. |
Posted: 06 Nov 2012 12:52 AM PST My recent trip to Japan re-energized my creative energies. The land of the rising sun epitomizes the dichotomy of the kind of design I favor; the whimsical and minimal. The clean design aesthetic you normally associate with Scandinavia is mixed with tradition in a way that’s uniquely Japanese. The Doll lamp by Foscarini reminds me of this confluence. Inspired by Japanese kokeshi dolls, the Doll lamp is minimalist in the strictest sense besides coming in four colors (red, green, ivory, grey). The kind of whimsical minimalism I was talking about. Posted: 06 Nov 2012 12:01 AM PST If you’re like me & cursed with bad vision, then you know how irritating it can be to constantly deal with your contacts. You gotta have the solution, the case, the glasses… KILLING! The Lens Safe case offers a little relief by combining all of the necessary elements into one compact unit (in a variety of colors!) that’s more stylish and functional than the boring medical style cases. Solution is stored between the R and L lens containers so you’re never left dry! Designer: Simon Michel - Related posts: |
