Posted: 07 Sep 2012 09:29 AM PDT Smoke masks and smoke detectors can mean the difference between life and death in the event of a house fire – so why not combine the two?! The first design of its kind, the TaG mask actually detects smoke itself and emits a sound signal that alerts victims and makes it easier to find in a smokey room. Furthermore, TaG uses flashing LEDs and a built-in sonorous locator to help rescuers evacuate those in danger. Genius! Check out the vid to see how it works! Posted: 07 Sep 2012 07:53 AM PDT The SimCheong Printer & Scanner concept is inspired by a Korean story and the motive behind it is very simple; making computer peripherals more accessible to the visually challenged. Basically the printer is capable of printing and scanning documents in Braille. It looks easy to operate and when supporting technology is available, I am sure it will be a great help. Posted: 07 Sep 2012 07:39 AM PDT Mix is a smart appliance that comes loaded with a whole lot of recipes. Essentially the database makes it smart enough to calculate just how much spice and seasoning will your sauce need. According to your recipe and portions, the device dispenses either a powder encased in a ball or a liquid sauce. Simply use the dispensed portion and cook with confidence, knowing that you are cooking a professional meal! Designer: Lishuai Dong - No related posts. |

The Moon lamp’s sliding cover can be adjusted to reveal more or less light depending on need. The full spectrum, from a sliver of a crescent to a full moon, is available to always achieve the perfect glow. Designer: Anil Ercan - Related posts: |
Posted: 07 Sep 2012 12:01 AM PDT One of the major challenges for those effected by natural flood disasters is finding clean drinking water. The Source of Water concept aims to help those in need get clean water quickly and conveniently. The design is based on a simple principle that water pressure around the tube will push through the purifying layers, producing drinkable water with very little effort. The user simply has to drop the tubular filter in the center of the cross within the buoyant ring and remove when full. Designer: Wang Can - Related posts: |
