Posted: 21 Sep 2012 08:03 PM PDT I could link to every piece in Andreas Scheiger “Evolution of Type” series. This time he uses a combination of wood, gypsum, plasticine, chicken bones, and water colors to create typographic fossils. iOS clock “inspired” by the Swiss Railway Clock Posted: 21 Sep 2012 05:45 PM PDT Kind of ironic that after all the time spent in court defending its devices design against copycats, Apple is now accused of ripping off the iconic Swiss Railway Clock. Apple will probably have to settle this with a licensing fee. The clock was designed by Hans Hilfiker in the 1940s. The Federal Railways service owns the copyright for the clock, you can see Apple's version of the clock in the image above on the left, the Swiss Railways clock is on the right. Via MacRumors. |
