Party in the Front, Business in the Back Posted: 27 Aug 2012 10:18 AM PDT Chances are you’ve never seen a rickshaw like this! Normally, they are pulled by a human runner or a seated cyclist and are most common in large metropolitan areas from London to Beijing. This design differs in that the driver is located behind the passengers, giving them a better view for sightseeing. It also features a pedi-assist system that only requires the driver to start the motion with a few pedals forward to kick the electric engine into action. Easier on the driver and still environmental friendly! Designer: Jacob Mazor - Related posts:

Posted: 27 Aug 2012 10:00 AM PDT It is quite common for Koreans to use hot stones for warming themselves during harsh winters. Keeping this in mind, we have here the ST-ON concept, which is a stone warming unit for mountain climbers. When the stone-shaped units are fully charged and warm, they turn orange and start radiating heat when removed from the charging unit. They keep you warm during your mountain climb, but I reckon anyone with cold feet can use this. Designers: Sooeon Kim and Sangyong Park - Related posts: |
Posted: 27 Aug 2012 02:10 AM PDT I know the tech companies are doing their best to come out with a mouse that is sleek and compact enough to compliment a laptop. However I am sure most of you will agree with me that a full bodied mouse is what our hands crave, when we work one with a laptop. So to address the issue or portability and keep with the demand of a fully functional mouse, we have here the Flat CD Mouse Concept. When its flat-packed it fits into the CD ROM drive and when you fold it (origami style), it converts into a fully functional mouse. Love it and want it NOW! The Flat CD Mouse is a 2012 iF Design Talents entry. Designer: Taewon Hwang - Related posts: |
Posted: 27 Aug 2012 12:01 AM PDT The Air Tube Earphones are fitted with a pressure sensor in the earbuds. This helps the earphones instinctively understand if the user is still wearing his earphones or has removed them. The logic is that if you have removed the earphones, it means you are no longer listening to your music player….as a result the earphones automatically power-off your music player till you pop in the earbuds once again. This intuitive action not only saves your player's power for you, it also makes it easy for you to manage the device incase you have slipped it into you pocket or bag. Clever!
