Rethinking the Chopper Control Posted: 15 Aug 2012 09:32 AM PDT Anyone else notice that RC helicopters use the same remote control as their land-confined counterparts? The Chorus controller is a new solution, designed specifically for the chopper. It features a hidden trigger under the body and a more comfortable, intuitive disc shape that pivots and angles to mimic the movement of the helicopter blades. It provides a somewhat more realistic experience that’s great for novice and expert flyers alike. Designer: Ben Wahrlich - Related posts: |
Maternity Clothes With A Difference Posted: 15 Aug 2012 05:31 AM PDT We are not speaking about the fashion angle here, but the possibility of wearing the same set of clothes pre, during and post pregnancy! Sounds magical but designer Rita seems to be onto something big, Dior – I hope you are listening, apparently she chose two different materials, one in ivory color, which had resistance fibers when washed in high temperature. And the other was a black material, which had shrinking fibers when washed in high temperature. Combining the two in the belly area in a knitted fashion, resulted in this amazing top! As she explains, "In order to retain the product easily stretching and elastic, it is recommended to wash it at lower temperature, 30C, gentle mode, during the entire time of pregnancy. After giving birth, when shrinking of the product is needed in the belly's area, it is recommended to wash it just once at temperature above 50C, gentle mode. Belly area of the garment will shrink, but breast area- will stay the same. After that, wash it at 30C temperature." Using two different fibers of the same color, although invisible in the product, performs an important function. I think the idea is great and being through two pregnancies, I know how much it pinches financially to let go of good maternity dresses. Designer: Rita Kazokaite Kaupeliene - Related posts:

Posted: 15 Aug 2012 05:18 AM PDT The MEMOME is a USB stick with an e-ink display that automatically updates as to what files the stick holds. Almost like a digital post-it, the drive is designed to fit your style and keep you in the loop with regards to file and memory information. Love the thoughtful curve on one side, which makes it easy to pick up and grab the stick in a jiffy. MEMOME is a 2012 iF Design Talents entry. Designer: Jui-Min Huang - Related posts:

Posted: 15 Aug 2012 12:02 AM PDT The Levity chaise-lounge is composed of 12mm thick birch plywood and 12mm thick birch rods that together create abstract geometries that suggest levitation of a reclined person. The slender structure looks as if it might not support the weight of an individual, but the simple construction is lightweight and surprisingly sturdy with 20 supporting legs held firmly in place.
