Posted: 12 Jun 2012 06:20 AM PDT The only time I've been so obsessed with bandages was when I spied the jewel encrusted Cynthia Rowley’s Limited Edition. This Chameleon Bandage takes the concept of band-aid protection a notch higher by becoming literally invisible. I suppose there must be some chemical elements to it. However the designers have not clarified it as yet. Imagine how cool will it be to sport a bandage that blends with your skin tone, especially for those awkward places on your chin or cheek! Me wants one now! Chameleon Bandageis a 2012 iF Design Talents entry. Guiding Teacher: Xiang Long Pan Designers: Xue Xing Wu, Zi Yu Li, Yue Hua Zhu & Zhi Qiang Wang - No related posts. |
Posted: 12 Jun 2012 06:02 AM PDT Be it the elegance of the Japanese Tea Ceremony, Chado or the exuberance of Gongfu cha followed by the Chinese; tea drinking and its brewing is an artform that not many can replicate. The Chai-Set by Mahsa Haddad gives you the liberty of creating your own tea ceremony. A style that can be exclusive and distinct to you alone! The elements consist of a beautiful stainless steel tea tray that doubles up as a warming platform. An elegant china teapot, with tea strainer and holder, cups, sugar bowl, milk jug, and a ceramic container for ancillaries like candles for the tea-warmer. I can already picture myself devising my own performance…I'll be sure to invite you though! Designer: Mahsa Haddad - Related posts: |
Posted: 12 Jun 2012 12:21 AM PDT Words almost can’t describe my affection for these stunning zoomorphic seating designs! Inspired by the mythologies of parahumans, the Hybrid series of chairs playfully merges with the seated person to create a visually captivating scene. It’s a clever and unique approach that’s sure to be a conversation starter in any room. Designer: Merve Kahraman - Related posts: |
Posted: 12 Jun 2012 12:01 AM PDT Though it might seem random, the Mess Lamp is actually a representation of the systematic “chaos” in the complicated geometric shapes of leaves. Starting from the top and moving downward, the “petals” are placed in a system similar to others found in nature, and perfectly camouflage the supporting structure and light source without totally obstructing the glow. Posted: 12 Jun 2012 12:01 AM PDT As DSLR cameras have expanded their use beyond still photography to high definition videography, so has the need for accessories that allow for a variety of movement when recording. The Indieshot DSLR incorporates a steadicam, boom camera mount for high shots, glide track for pan and push shots, shoulder mount, and tripod all into one compact, low production cost peripheral. It’s a one-stop solution for dynamic recording. Designer: Grant Parrinello - Related posts: |
